CFD BitOptimizer is a full-featured disk optimization tool that can enhance and boost up your system’s performance in one single operation. It will scan all the most sensitive areas of your computer and will detect, report, and fix any errors found in your Registry, your hard drives, your file system, or any possible threat to both your system’s integrity and your privacy.
CFD BitOptimizer can also be described as a suite of maintenance tools organized into six main areas – a Windows Optimizer, a Driver Manager, a File Extension Manager, a Privacy Settings tweaking utility, a Startup Manager, and a Defragmenter. Its fast scan process will look at all these areas in depth, and will show a report with all the selected items organized by areas (registry, privacy files, startup, etc.). You can choose to optimize any or all of these areas following the program’s recommendations, or edit any of the lists and uncheck those errors, threats, or processes that you would like to leave out from the fixing process.

Among the disk optimizing tools you will find a junk files cleaner, a recent history cleaner, a defragmentation tool, a restore point manager, and the above-mentioned duplicate finder. This utility will select those files appearing in various parts of your file system under the same filename. There is a caveat though – though technically duplicates, many files carrying the same name are not necessarily redundant, so a one-by-one check is advisable before getting rid of all the files selected by this (or any other similar) utility.

Finally, BitOptimizer comes with a comprehensive Settings section, where you will be able to schedule the program’s scan and defragmentation processes, and change the settings of the home screen, the registry, your privacy preferences, or the driver updates.
